DAVID PEEBLES from Pickens County Alabama History and Families Transcriber's note: I presume this to be the Peebles of Pickens County that are my ancestors. Although there is no specific biography of my ancestor, whom I believe to be John Vester Peebles, I am including this information so that others may make a connection. This may be a totally different line of Peebles from mine, but if it helps someone else then I'll be happy.

John Vester Peebles died January 14, 1871, and was buried in Mitchell Cemetery.
