1 cup Distilled Water
1/2 tsp. Borax Powder
12 Tbsps Beeswax
2 cups Sunflower Oil (or other oil of choice)
4 tsp. Coconut oil
Fragrance of choice.
Place water in a clean saucepan and bring to a boil. Add borax powder, sturring until dissolved. Simmer while preparing the next step. In a large glass microwave safe bowl add oils and beeswax. Place in microwave and microwave on medium or high (you need to watch it closely if on high) until all oils and beeswax is melted (this will be VERY hot so be careful!). Remove from microwave and set oils in a larger bowl of ice, immediately begin beating on low with an electric hand mixer while SLOWLY adding water/borax mixture. Continue to beat on medium or low until the cream becomes cool, add fragrance of choice (optional) and thoroughly mix. Place into widemouth jars or other containers.
